Sportswear Collection
This collection was developed in Kelly's Advanced Patternmaking course, completed during Summer 2014 at Mt. San Antonio College.
Her inspiration for this collection came from images of sandy beaches and beautiful oceanic landscapes. Kelly combined flowy, colorful fabrics with textured, neutral-colored fabrics to represent the ocean waves and sandy coastlines. The style lines and design elements incoporated into this collection were influenced by the 1960's fashion period, with a touch of the classic 1950's hourglass silhoutte. All in all, her collection aims to express the epitome of a summer vacation or getaway to a beach resort. Her collection consists of one jacket, one skirt, one pair of pants, one pair of shorts, and two shirts.
As part of the line, Kelly developed apparel industry spec sheets that detail the measurements of specific garments and technical flats.
